Sakhi Samriddhi – Women, Wealth & Wisdom 600 450 aces

Sakhi Samriddhi – Women, Wealth & Wisdom

September 2026 | St. Louis, Missouri

“Financial knowledge is not just about money — it’s about confidence, choices, and independence.”

That idea was at the heart of Sakhi Samriddhi – Women, Wealth & Wisdom, an afternoon dedicated to helping women build greater financial awareness, confidence, and long-term security.

We were honored to welcome Shruti Mahuli, Founder of Prism Wealth Solutions, who traveled from Atlanta to spend the afternoon with the Sakhi community. After an 18-year career in technology, Shruti transitioned into entrepreneurship, combining her professional experience with a passion for helping individuals make informed financial decisions.

During an engaging and interactive session, Shruti shared practical insights on topics including investing, retirement planning, tax strategies, insurance and protection, children’s education planning, and building a stronger financial future.

The conversation went far beyond numbers. Women asked thoughtful questions, shared experiences, and explored how greater financial knowledge can create more confidence, independence, and choice at every stage of life.

We are deeply grateful to Shruti for sharing her knowledge and experiences so generously, and to every woman who joined us and contributed to the energy, curiosity, and openness in the room.

A special thank you to Anushka Suratia for beautifully capturing the moments from the afternoon and helping us preserve the memories of another meaningful Sakhi gathering.

At Sakhi STL, we believe that when women have access to knowledge, supportive conversations, and one another, they are better equipped to make confident decisions and build stronger futures.

Sakhi Samriddhi was another step toward creating a community where women can connect, learn, ask questions, and grow together.

Sakhi NextGen – Conversations that Matter

Saturday, August 15, 2026 | Ballwin Pointe Clubhouse

As a new school year approached, Sakhi STL expanded its mission across generations with the launch of Sakhi NextGen – Conversations that Matter, an interactive session created especially for South Asian teens in Grades 9–12.

Led by Aisha Khorana, a Ph.D. student in Counselor Education, certified school counselor, and practicing mental health therapist, the session offered teens a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space to talk openly about the issues that shape their everyday lives.

Conversations explored topics including mental health, identity, navigating two cultures, friendships, stress, family expectations, and the pressures that often come with growing up. Through thoughtful discussion and interactive participation, teens were encouraged to ask questions, share perspectives, listen to one another, and recognize that many of their experiences are shared.

What made the afternoon especially meaningful was the openness and engagement of the teens themselves. Their willingness to participate, reflect, and connect with one another transformed the session into more than a discussion — it became a space where they could feel heard, understood, and supported.

We are deeply grateful to Aisha for facilitating the conversation with warmth, sensitivity, and authenticity, and to the parents who trusted Sakhi STL to create this space for their teens.

Sakhi NextGen represents an important part of our vision — building community not only for today’s women, but also creating meaningful spaces for the next generation to connect, grow, and thrive.

Through conversations like these, we hope to continue strengthening understanding, confidence, and connection across generations.

Sakhi Samanvay – Yoga, Yaari & Nashta 600 450 aces

Sakhi Samanvay – Yoga, Yaari & Nashta

Sunday, July 19, 2026 | Bluebird Park – Bussmann Pavilion

Following the wonderful response to our inaugural Sakhi Samvaad, we came together once again — this time for a morning centered on wellness, friendship, and community.

Sakhi Samanvay – Yoga, Yaari & Nashta brought women together in the peaceful setting of Bluebird Park for a refreshing start to the day filled with movement, laughter, meaningful conversations, and new connections.

The morning began with an all-levels yoga session led by certified instructor Mamta Rajpurohit, whose experience in Hatha, Vinyasa, and Restorative Yoga created a welcoming and rejuvenating experience for both beginners and regular practitioners. The session offered everyone an opportunity to slow down, recharge, and begin the day feeling balanced and energized.

The spirit of Yaari came alive through interactive meet-and-greet activities and lighthearted games that encouraged women to connect beyond familiar circles. New friendships were formed, conversations flowed easily, and the sense of community continued to grow.

The morning concluded with Nashta — a delicious breakfast and freshly brewed chai catered by Desi Bites. Sharing a meal together provided the perfect setting to continue conversations, laugh, and simply enjoy one another’s company.

We are grateful to Mamta for sharing her time and expertise, to Desi Bites for the wonderful breakfast, and most importantly, to every woman who joined us and brought such warmth and positive energy to the morning.

Sakhi Samanvay reminded us that wellness is not only about taking care of ourselves — it is also about creating space for friendship, belonging, and community.

One gathering at a time, we continue building a stronger and more supportive circle of Sakhis.

Sakhi Samvaad – With Chai Ki Chuski

Saturday, June 13, 2026 | Daniel Boone Library

What began as a simple idea — to create a space where Indian women in St. Louis could come together, share stories, and build meaningful connections — became an afternoon that exceeded our expectations.

Our inaugural Sakhi Samvaad – With Chai Ki Chuski brought women together for an afternoon of honest conversations, shared experiences, inspiration, laughter, and community.

The event featured a candid fireside conversation with three accomplished women from the St. Louis community:

  • Anupama Dixit – Retired Health Scientist, Saint Louis University
  • Anu Kabra – RedKey Realty Leaders
  • Devi Paruchuri – Vice President of Technology, Equifax

Our panelists generously shared their personal and professional journeys, speaking openly about growth, challenges, reinvention, resilience, and success. Their honesty, authenticity, and encouragement resonated deeply with the women in the room and helped make our very first Sakhi gathering truly meaningful.

Over chai, thoughtful questions, laughter, and conversation, attendees connected with one another in a warm and welcoming environment. Many women left feeling inspired, encouraged, and seen — exactly the kind of experience Sakhi STL hopes to create.

We are deeply grateful to our panelists for sharing their stories, to Turmeric STL for supporting our vision as an event sponsor, and most importantly, to every woman who joined us and helped bring the spirit of Sakhi to life.

The overwhelming encouragement and positive feedback we received reminded us just how meaningful it can be to create intentional spaces for women to connect, learn from one another, and grow together.

Sakhi Samvaad was more than our first event — it was the beginning of a community. Here’s to meaningful conversations, new friendships, and a growing circle of Sakhis.
